The principle of performance involves manipulative therapy, passive movements, stretching and pressing along specific points and lines of our body. Ea’s Therapeutic Bodywork is performed together with Trigger Point Therapy and Acupressure. Therapeutic Bodywork is recommended for individuals who experience:

  • lack of energy
  • sleep depravation
  • joint stiffness
  • muscular stiffness
  • anxiety

Background

Shiatsu and Thai Traditional Massage are rooted in the background of the ancient ways of healing through palm and finger pressure on painful areas of our body.

Original Shiatsu techniques were developed in Japan more than 2000 years ago, but the man who officially introduced Shiatsu to public was Tokujiro Namikoshi (1905-2000) in 1940, when the first Shiatsu College was opened.

Thai Traditional Massage is a unique mixture of influences of many different cultures and philosophies. The first influence came from Indian Buddhist monks with ayurvedic medical background. Later on, the big influence was the Chinese principle of bodywork called Tui na.
